Technorati and page rank

As a blogger, I am also interested in promoting my site for more visitors and more traffic. One of the things I learned in promoting blog sites is to submit it to blog directories. You must have noticed my badges from different directories:

I have noticed a spur of visitors from directory referrals so I would expect another increase from this one. I hope to increase my page rank soon.
